In 2024, I took on the extraordinary challenge of running 157 miles through the Moroccan Sahara Desert, carrying all my own food, to push the boundaries of my mind and body. This journey emerged as part of my recovery from Covid—a deeply personal way to confront limitations and redefine what’s possible. The race, known as Marathon des Sables, is often called the toughest on the planet, with temperatures soaring to 115°F.
Through this grueling experience, I discovered that we are all far more capable than we often believe. Along the way, I met individuals who had overcome unimaginable physical challenges, using endurance sports not just as a test of strength but as a profound tool for self-discovery. I learned how some use these feats to escape their struggles, while others dive deep into their psyche, seeking growth and transformation.
In my psychotherapy practice, I work with clients who are thriving but want to push their limits—whether in sports, career, or personal growth. I also provide coaching to athletes and non-athletes alike who are ready to overcome the psychological barriers holding them back, helping them explore and realize their full potential.
